3 Days / 2 Nights Tour to Delphi & Meteora

From the classic Temple of Apollo at Delphi to the famous rock-tower monasteries of Meteora - you will visit some of the most iconic sites in Greece on this three-day organized tour from Athens.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Delphi

Drive through Levadia and Arachova. Upon arrival visit the archaeological site and the Museum. The Museum with the famous bronze Charioteer, the statue of Antinoos, the athlete Aghias and the site in which you will admire the Ancient Sanctuary and all the renowned ruins of the Opals (Navel) of the Ancient world.The rest of the day for you to enjoy. Overnight.

Day 2: Delphi - Meteora

Morning at leisure then drive across the Thessaly Plains to the spectacular Meteora region, through Amphissa, Lamia and Trikala. Overnight in Kalambaka.

Day 3: Meteora

Tour the monasteries of Meteora and marvel at the towering rocky pinnacles that the region is famous for. Start the drive back to Athens, passing through Thermopylae (short stop) and Kamena Vourla.

A dress code is required to enter monasteries of Meteora and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
